Local authorities and business partners are preparing propositions to Government on Local Enterprise Partnerships.
'Economic Development – Opportunities, Challenges and Implications for Local Enterprise Partnerships' sets out the issues and challenges that need to be considered in developing LEP bids. It also provides evidence on the broader post recession economic context and risks that LEPs might want to consider in developing their business plans. Importantly, it identifies the new and highly competitive funding and bidding environment that LEPs will be engaged with through Regional Growth Funds and other funding streams and the real threat to funding for key interventions in our towns and cities.
