The interactive maps provide instant access to datasets that help us understand the economy of the East of England and understand how the East performs compared to other regions. Maps are a useful tool in the visualisation of data, enhancing interpretation and enabling quick and simple comparisons between areas. Click on the links below to begin using the maps.

Regional Economic Atlas

The Regional Economic Atlas is a data visualisation tool providing instant access to over 150 economic datasets at Regional, and local authority level. Data is available to view simultaneously in map, chart and tabular formats, showing regional and local trends in economic performance. The tool also allows the monitoring of the performance of the East of England, in line with regional ambitions set out in the Regional Economic Strategy (RES).

Integrated Sustainability Framework Atlas

The Integrated Sustainability Framework Atlas is a data visualisation tool providing instant access to the datasets set out in the ISF monitoring framework. The atlas contains over 30 datasets at Regional, and local authority level. Data is available to view simultaneously in map, chart and tabular formats, showing regional and local trends in sustainable development performance.

Animated Mapping Module - Animated claimant rate map

The animated mapping module is a data visualisation tool configured for animated time series maps at regional and local authority level. Claimant rate data is provided from January 2008 to the latest release showing the trend in unemployment claimants spatially.
